Welcome to week twelve of my little feature appreciating the little things that have made up my week. Thank you to all the lovely bloggers who joined in so far, I love reading all the posts and look forward to catching up with this week’s ones.
I’ve only gone and bought another book!
This one has been on my list of ‘must reads’ for a while now and when I spotted it on Mostly Yummy Mummy’s Instagram feed it gave me the push to go out and buy it. I’m only a chapter or two into it yet so nothing to report but I am intrigued by it so far.
It was the last episode of Line of Duty this week and oh man, it was so good! They definitely have to commission another series of it.
I watched Greys Anatomy but if I’m honest I just don’t love it anymore. I don’t know what’s happened but I don’t find it draws me in like it used to . Obviously I’m still going to watch it though, I need to know if April chooses Jackson or sticks with whatshisname!
These lovely slip on’s have finally arrived! I ordered them from H&M months ago and nearly forgot about them to be honest! They are super duper comfy, perfect for early morning nursery and school runs.
Here’s another picture of the little beauties..
Somehow 3 year old E has found a nursery rhyme CD just lying around in the playroom and then took it upon herself to demand it gets played in my car. Now usually the rule is ‘Mummy’s car, Mummy’s music’ but she has used her weapon of cuteness to get around me and now the darn thing is blasting out in my car. Lord help me.
On the upside the bad singing to cheap backing tracks sent her to sleep the other day!
Don’t worry I’m not going to inflict a nursery rhyme on you (or more Nashville!) instead I’m going with this one.
Now, I have a kind of a love / hate relationship with Coldplay. I adored their earlier stuff then they were EVERYWHERE and I think I became I bit indifferent and maybe a bit bored. Hearing this song though makes me remember why I love their music. Lets hope the album, released in May, doesn’t disappoint.
And I’ve been loving this band..
My lovely little assistant and I have baked some chocolate chip cookies this week. They are perfect for a mid-morning snack or great to sneak into a lunchbox as a treat, a firm family favourite that’s for sure!
The girls have had a week of going from playing beautifully to suddenly fighting , and I’m talking full on girly slapping each other style fighting, not just the usual bickering. In an attempt to focus on the good here is a lovely little picture of them after Noo had given E a princess makeover!
So there we have it, the little things that I love from this week!
